Kathy originally reached out to me about an entrance table I finished and put up for sale but unfortunately someone grabbed it before she did. I ended up sending her a link to my work and she made inquiries about a table she wanted redone. We talked about colours and styles and how it would fit in with her new decor. We settled on Seaside Blue MFP with a black wax finished to take advantage of the detailing in her wood.
To our delight we live minutes away from eachother so the trip for them to drop the piece off was a short one. Meeting both Kathy and her husband it was clear to see how genuine the two were. I brought out 3 shades of blue for them just so they were confident in their decision and they happily stuck with Seaside Blue.
To my delight the piece was very clean. After the cleaning and sanding, the piece was painted in 3 coats. Knowing it was a glass top, both the inside and outside had to be done. Next was the waxing. The entire piece was done with extra attention given to certain areas to take advantage of the details.
Along the way I sent pics to Kathy and the feedback was she "loved" it. I as well think the transformation is significant and know it will compliment Kathy's new home and new decor very well.
