šCustomer Pieceš
This is the final chapter to the story of this dresser. My original intention was to strip this piece, keep it natural and sell to the public. To my surprise, Maxine (a former customer of mine), reached out to me and asked if I could customize the dresser to her liking.

Maxine and I shared ideas and I introduced her to Pemberley Blue from Annie Sloan's Satin line and she loved it. I was given the green light to move forward.
Since the piece was already stripped, it was all about applying paint at this point. Maxine was on the fence of painting the entire piece or keeping the dresser top and top drawer natural. Therefore, I painted everything with 3 coats and left the drawer and top natural.

Next up was what colour of gold to go with on the handles? I assisted by painting 1 handle in satin bronze and the other in pure gold. Both worked but we mutually agreed pure gold complimented the blue best.
Eventually a decision had to be made with the dresser top and drawer and ultimately she went with what you see before you. I was certain it was going to be a full paint. I would not be surprised if I am asked to paint the top drawer before pick up. š

For those who like a flat finish with no brush strokes, take a look at using the Annie Sloan Satin line. It is a self leveling paint that is easy to work with that I find super durable.
Unfortunately the pics do not do this piece justice. The blue is beautiful and one that needs to be seen in person.
Cheers to Maxine for the custom work and fun times working on this project.š
