This is another piece that was given to me from my neighbour who recently moved. I figured I would look over some of the colours I have not used in a while and decided Midnight Blue from Fusion would do the trick.

After, cleaning and sanding, I applied 3 coats of paint. Initially I sanded and stained the top in Provincial but I did not like it in combination with the Midnight Blue so I ended up sanding again and applied Dark Wanut stain and BAM, that was it!

3 coats of Tung Oil was used to protect the stained top while my homemade foodgrade beeswax was used to protect the remainder of the piece. The original knob was used as it complimented the piece well.

I named this regal guy, Captain Bluebeard. Why, have no idea?!?

You are welcome to check my page for other available pieces to purchase or simply follow me as I post pieces weekly. I also have an Instagram account under the same name.
